Chelsea won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge against Lille to put themselves in a good spot in their Champions League round-of-16 clash on Tuesday night.

The Blues won thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic, who were not at their best but were confident on the ball when it counted most.

The French team had a few chances in the first leg, but the home team held on to take a two-goal lead into the second leg.

In their next match, Chelsea will face Liverpool in the EFL Cup final on Sunday.

Lille, however, is in Ligue 1 action on the same day, traveling to Lyon.
