Super Falconets hammer Central African Republic

The Super Falconets on Wednesday defeated their Central African Republic counterparts 4-0 (Agg. 11-0) in the return leg of the U20 World Cup qualifiers at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Goals from Sebastian Flourish, Blessing Okpe and ldoko Mercy’s brace helped the U20 Nigerian side seal all 3 points at home after they won their first leg in Cameroon 7-0.

Flourish Sebastine fired the Falconets in front 13 minutes into the game. Idoko then doubled the lead ten minutes before the half-time break.

51 minutes on, Idoko found the back of the net again to double her tally before super sub – Blessing Okpe completed the rout with a thunderous effort.

The Falconets will now face the winner of Egypt vs Congo in the next round, with three more rounds to go and a place in Costa Rica for two African teams.
