Victor Osimhen has been named the AIC Player of the Month for September by the Italian Footballers’ Association.
The 22-year-old on Wednesday won the first AIC award of the new season after scoring 7 goals in 6 games.
The Napoli striker received more than half of the total votes collected from his fellow Serie A players.
The AIC confirmed this on its official twitter page saying;
“Player of the month AIC september ’21 – Serie A – Victor Osimhen”
The editorial staff of UU chooses 4 players to be voted for by their professional football colleagues at the request of the AIC and Osimhen secured more than 50% of the total votes.
A September to remember for the Man on a mission to conquer Italy.
Victor Osimhen currently has the best conversion rate in Europe over Kareem Benzema and Erling Haaland.
