They should have been farther ahead before the break, as McGinn and Mings both had decent chances, and they did come under early pressure from their opponents in the second half.
They remained firm, though, and doubled their lead in the 86th minute, when McGinn scored beautifully past Guaita after being spotted on the edge of the box by El Ghazi.
Guehi equalized in the 95th minute, but Villans held on for a significant win that puts them up to 11th place.
