The visitors stunned the home crowd early when Chinedu Nwosu struck in the 2nd minute to put the Benin Gunners ahead.
Enyimba responded through Joseph Abiodun, who coolly finished in the 18th minute to restore parity.
Insurance regained the lead on the hour mark via Wisdom Udom, but the Big Elephant showed resilience once again.
Kalu Nweke levelled from the penalty spot in the 65th minute before substitute Chidera Michael completed the turnaround just four minutes later with a composed finish, sending the Aba fans into raptures.
