After a magnificent second half display at Anfield, Liverpool earned their place in the FA Cup fifth round with a 3-1 victory over Cardiff.

The game was tied at halftime, but Jota gave the Premier League side the lead eight minutes after the break, and they never looked back.

The hosts took control and dominated the game, with Minamino scoring twice, before Harvey Elliot sealed the victory with his first Liverpool goal since recovering from injury.

Cardiff grabbed one back late in the game through Colwill, but it was only a consolation goal.

Liverpool will now battle Norwich City, who defeated Wolves on Saturday, in the FA Cup’s next round.

Meanwhile, Liverpool takes on Leicester City in the Premier League on Thursday, while Cardiff takes on Peterborough United on Wednesday.
