Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium to make it 12 wins in a row in the Premier League, keeping their title hopes alive.

In the 70th minute, Kevin De Bruyne netted the game’s only goal with a great run and finish, looping a shot from the edge of the box past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

It was a game with limited chances, but the hosts controlled the game and had the tactical edge when it mattered most to win.

The Pep Guardiola side has now moved 13 points ahead of Chelsea at the top of the table, thereby eliminating Chelsea’s title ambitions.

City’s next Premier League match is against Southampton next Saturday.

While Chelsea will play at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday against Brighton and Hove Albion.
