Christian Pulisic inspire United States to knockout stage of 2022 FIFA World Cup

At the Al Thumama Stadium on Tuesday night, Chelsea sensation Christian Pulisic spurred the United States of America national team to advance to the round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old Chelsea forward scored the game’s winning goal to propel the Americans to the World Cup knockout round in Qatar.

Iran gave the them a fierce fight, but the Americans ultimately prevailed because of their superior strength.

They dominated the first half, and Christian Pulisic’s goal in the 38th minute was their only goal.

The Chelsea player, though, was hurt while scoring the goal, returned to the field, but was replaced at halfway.

Iran seemed to be a much better team in the second half, and Rezaeian especially, showed great talent on the right side, but they were completely unable to get a chance past Turner.

With the win, the USA joins England in moving on to the round of 16 and finishing second in Group B.

Iran’s World Cup campaign is officially finished, and for the sixth time, they will not advance to the knockout stages, but the United States will face Group A champions, the Netherlands.

Iran and Wales were both knocked out of the international tournament after losing their final group games.
