Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Rafa Benitez’s team at Stamford Bridge, allowing another two points to slip through their fingers.

Mason Mount’s earlier strike was cancelled out by Jarrad Branthwaite’s goal barely four minutes after the Blues took the lead.

The hosts dominated the first half but couldn’t get past Pickford’s excellent saves, and it took until the 70th minute for them to break the deadlock.

Branthwaite, on the other hand, scored his first Premier League goal four minutes later from a free-kick.

Pickford also produced a fantastic late stop to keep Silva from scoring the game-winning goal.

The Blues are now 4 points behind the League leaders, Manchester City.

On Sunday, they will face Wolves. It’s a valuable point for Everton, who remain in 14th place in the table.

Their match against Leicester City was postponed this weekend, meaning they’ll face Burnley a week from Sunday.
