Brighton came back from a goal down to hold European champions Chelsea in the Premier League, thereby ending their title ambitions.
Brighton 1-1 Chelsea it ended at full-time at the American Express Community Stadium.
Another Seagulls draw was sealed by a bullet header from Adam Webster, but it just as well be a defeat for the Blues.
With a one-two with Kante, Ziyech put the Blues ahead, and he sized it up after a back-pass just beyond the right of the box. It soared into the bottom corner, barely missing the goalkeeper’s glove.
Before Adam Webster equalised for Brighton with a fantastic free header in the 60th minute. He comes in unnoticed from behind, round the defence, and buries it beyond Kepa.
Both teams will be looking forward to the weekend now, and they will be put to the test on their own.
In order to push an implausible European dream, Brighton must defeat Leicester.
Chelsea, on the other hand, must face Tottenham – again – and the Blues former Boss, Antonio Conte, who is seeking vengeance.
