Brazil emerged victorious despite not being at their best to move to the round of 16.
The game’s only goal was scored by Casemiro on an unassisted long-range shot that he took solo at 83 minutes.

Additionally, Brazil, who have won five World Cups, received a round of 16 ticket as a result of the goal.
The goal by Viniscius Junior, who had gotten loose in the Swaziland goal area, was disallowed in the 63rd minute of the second half by referee Ivan Arcides Barton Cisneros.
Switzerland was a threat going forward, but Brazil held them off rather easily, and in the end, their dominance in the final third paid off as Casemiro hammered home the decisive goal.
With equal ball exchanges between the two teams, the first half of the game ended scoreless.
The Selecao is already guaranteed a spot in the knockout rounds, but Switzerland must still defeat Serbia in order to join them.
