Timo Werner returns with a bang as Chelsea hammer Juventus

Chelsea on Tuesday night thrashed Juventus 4-0 at Stamford Bridge to advance to the Champions League last 16.Chelsea

With a beautiful effort from 10 yards, Trevoh Chalobah put the Thomas Tuchel side ahead in the first half.

Reece James doubled their lead with a half-volley before Callum Hudson-Odoi added a third with his left foot to round off an amazing season in front of goal.

Timo Werner, who made his Chelsea comeback, rounded off the effort by tapping in a fourth goal from Hakim Ziyech’s cross.

The Blues have moved to the top of Group H following their rout of the Italian side, who are now in second place.

Chelsea’s next match is on Sunday at Stamford Bridge against Manchester United in Premier League while Juve will play Atalanta at home on Saturday in Serie A action.
