The Premier League edition of the Super Eagles Derby totally failed to live up to its billing as it completely failed to bring in much excitement, stunning performances and there nothing much to talk about.

Looking at the Serie A Super Eagles Derby, Lookman Ademola and Victor Osimhen battled it all out for Supremacy but the Napoli star managed to steal the headline after the final whistle.

Victor Osimhen scored one and assists another as Ademola Lookman scored his sixth of the season in Napoli’s hard-fought away victory over Atalanta.

Atalanta and Napoli faced off each other at the Gewiss Stadium, with Atalanta looking to halt Napoli’s stunning run of form and they kicked off the encounter in good fashion.

Ademola Lookman was on fire for Atalanta as his effort on goal was blocked twice early into the game, before a penalty was conceded by Victor Osimhen with a hand ball in the penalty area.

Ademola stepped up and coolly converts the penalty with a right footed shot to the top right corner to give the home side the lead.

Four minutes later, Victor Osimhen repaid his side for his error by bringing Napoli back into the game with an equaliser.

Ademola Lookman missed couple of chances to hand the hosts the lead but failed to do so before Napoli hitman – Victor Osimhen turned provider this time around as Eljif Elmas scored what proved to be the winner to seal all three points.

Looking at the stats of the Serie A star Boys, Ademola Lookman has five goals in his last six league games while Victor Osimhen has six goals in his last four league games.Super Eagles Derby: How it all went down in Serie A, Premier League during the weekend

At the other end in the Premier League, Alex Iwobi put in a good midfield performance but couldn’t prevent Everton from a home league defeat against Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi side.

Without a doubt, Leicester City was the superior team, and the Foxes ripped at the Toffees with a relentless attacking effort that resulted in two excellent goals.

After Tielemans’ stunning long-range goal at the conclusion of the first half, Barnes snuck a goal into the top corner late in the second.

Everton’s lackluster performance allowed Leicester to overtake them in the Premier League standings, which was not the best way to wrap up their campaign at Goodison Park before heading into the World Cup.

Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were both missing in first half action. While Ndidi came in the 70th minute to provide some fresh legs in the midfield as Soumare made his way out, Iheanacho was an used sub.
