Russian PL: Moses in buoyant mood as Spartak Moscow win

former Nigerian international, Victor Moses is in superb mood right now after helping his side Spartak Moscow secure a narrow win against Krylya Sovetov on Friday.

Spartak Moscow during their opening league game last week Saturday fell to a 1-0 defeat against Rubin Kazan but narrowly secured a 1-0 win yesterday.

The 30-year-old, who has made two appearances for Spartak Moscow this season, featured for just 59 minutes for the Russian Premier League side.

9 minutes after leaving the pitch, Aleksandr Sobolev scored the only goal of the encounter to seal the win for Spartak Moscow.

The winger took to his official twitter page to say;

“Great to get the win yesterday. Important 3 points and we now move on and focus on the next.”

With the 3 points, Spartak Moscow sits deep in 9th position, but attention switches to Europe where they battle Primeira Liga giants Benfica up next in UEFA Champions League third qualifying round come August 4th.
