Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin has secured a significant boost ahead of the 2023/24 season by signing talented left winger Paul Obata.

The 27-year-old player joins the Benin Gunners on a free transfer after a successful campaign with Gombe United.

This signing is expected to bolster Bendel Insurance’s chances in the upcoming continental competitions, particularly the CAF Confederation’s Cup.

The reigning FA Cup Champions officially announced the signing of Paul Obata on their Twitter page, confirming the club’s first player acquisition of the season.

The undisclosed fee transfer was sealed with a one-year deal.

Obata’s arrival adds a significant boost to Bendel Insurance’s attacking options.
