Arsenal, on Sunday evening were booted out of the FA Cup by Nottingham Forest, who were by much the stronger team from start till the end.
At the City Ground, Championship side, Nottingham defeated Arsenal 1-0.
Despite conceding late, Lewis Grabban’s winning goal was the least the hosts earned after creating more chances and defending better than the Gunners, who are out of the campaign with their tails between their knees.
Djed Spence was a standout in this match, tearing up and down the right wing like a man on a mission, and he was integral to Forest’s greater style of play.
He had far more touches of any Forest player, as well as 4 tackles, perfect passing precision in Arsenal area, including one vital pass, and four fouls, demonstrating how he showed up around the field to assist Forest win a historic match.
The Colin Calderwood side will now host Leicester City in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round Flexed biceps.
