Jose Mourinho, the head coach of AS Roma, has signed midfielder Nemanja Matic for the third time in his career as football manager, bringing him to the Stadio Olimpico this time around.
Following his departure from Manchester United, Nemanja Matic has signed a free move with Roma, giving him another chance to work with Jose Mourinho.
The 33-year-old midfielder has agreed to a one-year deal with the Italian club, where he will reunite with former United teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Tammy Abraham of Chelsea.

The Serbian international has been acquired by Mourinho for the third time in his career after he revealed last season that he would be departing Old Trafford after five years with the Premier League side.
“I am pleased and honoured to be joining this club and I cannot wait to start the new season with my team-mates. Roma is a big club, with amazing fans and a coach, Jose Mourinho, who is well known to everyone – making the decision to come here very straightforward. I hope that by working together we are able to achieve some great things.” – Matic said.

After three years in Portugal, Matic returned to Chelsea in 2014, during Mourinho’s second stay at the club.
He followed the Roma coach to Manchester United three years later, where he became a regular first-team member under Louis van Gaal and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
