Manchester City progress to FA Cup Quarter Final

In a tough night against Championship strugglers Peterborough, Manchester City progress to the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup following a 2-0 victory.

The Premier League leaders were in control the whole game but found it difficult to beat the resilient defensive structure of their opponents in the first half.

The first goal of the day came from a sublime Riyad Mahrez soft effort, firstly through the legs of a Peterborough Defender and to the buttom corner of the net giving the keeper no chance.

Pep’s men sealed the victory in amazing fashion as a returning Jack Grealish run was spotted by Phil Foden from the halfway line, the first touch control from Grealish and the finish showed the difference in quality between the two sides.
