Pep Guardiola’s team came from behind to win the Premier League for the sixth time, and Gundogan will be credited with captivating them to victory.

Ikay Gundogan came off the bench and sparked a title-winning comeback for Manchester City with his performance.

Pep Guardiola won his fourth Premier League title in the most doubtful of conditions, defeating Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa 3-2.

Only Sir Alex Ferguson has won more Premier League titles than Man City manager Pep Guardiola, and he is one trophy ahead of both Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

Though some of his early choices were questionable, substitutes Zinchenko and Sterling brought in more momentum in the second half, and Gundogan’s double was crucial.

After their second consecutive comeback from a two-goal deficit, City were crowned champions in a thrilling finish to an exciting two-horse race.

City were hit twice by a well-organized Villa side, but rallied to score three quick goals and move to 93 points, one point ahead of runners-up Liverpool.

The incredible late comeback brought the trophy home in the most sensational of scenarios.

Another Manchester City title success is celebrated with a post-match pitch invasion, as blue flare smoke filled the Etihad.
