Only two minutes after Foden’s goal, Vinicius equalized for the visitors, bringing the score to 3-2. The Brazilian struck the back of the net with a calm finish after having enough time on his hands.
The game’s best goal, a stunner into the top-left corner by Bernardo Silva, put the game out of reach at 4-2.
Benzema extended his tally of the night from the penalty spot after Aymeric Laporte fumbled the ball in the box.
With the 4-3 victory, City looked to have a tiny advantage heading into the Bernabeu for the second leg.
