In Leicester City’s hard-fought Premier League triumph over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, Ademola Lookman grabbed his fifth league goal of the season.

While his Super Eagles teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho, only played 14 minutes, the hosts came away with a 2-1 victory at the King Power Stadium.

Dewsbury-Hall found Lookman with a low ball across the box, after beating Kouyate in midfield 39 minutes into the contest.

The former Everton winger cuts inside and fires a shot past Guaita into the bottom-left corner.

Dewsbury-Hall was composed in the final third, creating space on the edge of the box and passing the ball neatly to Lookman, who scored the game’s first goal.

Six minutes later, Leicester City doubled their lead. Dewsbury-Hall gets through the away side defense to create a shooting opportunity, dodging Kouyate once again just beyond the Palace area.

After assisting on the opener, he scored his first Premier League goal, powerfully directing the ball into the top-left corner.

Maddison set up the second goal by throwing a pass to Dewsbury-Hall just beyond the Crystal Palace area.

18 minutes into the second half, Tielemans takes Ayew down inside the 18 yard box with a reckless challenge, giving Palace a lifeline.

Schmeichel, on the other hand, was up to the task when Zaha’s weak penalty was saved by the goalkeeper, who dived left to palm the ball away.

Luckily for Zaha, VAR reversed the penalty save, giving him a second chance to score from the spot.

Zaha takes the penalty kick yet again, this time directly at Schmeichel in the heart of the goal. Once again, he blew the opportunity yet again. For the second time in a row, Schmeichel saved the penalty, this time thwarting Zaha’s re-taken attempt.

However, after missing his second penalty shot, Zaha responds quickly to poke the ball into the net on the rebound, leaving Schmeichel vulnerable.

The same Crystal Palace XI that started the win over Arsenal was a shell of its former self in the encounter.

Leicester had a little advantage and was able to hold on to that advantage to earn all three point.
