It’s Liverpool who have got the early advantage heading into the second leg of the round of 16 UCL tie after a 2-0 victory over Inter Milan at San Siro.
It was a frantic and cagey first half, one were Liverpool were made to defend well, while their attack was nullified in a scoreless first half.
With their first shot on target of the game, second half early substitute Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the lead scoring from a Robertson cross with his head in the 76th minute.
Salah doubled the lead for the Reds and sealed the win as he got in on Konate’s header inside the penalty box. The goal secured the win and a first leg advantage as they hope to secure a spot in the quarter final after the second leg at Anfield.
