Liverpool hammered Brentford 3-0 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon to halt their winless streak.

They lead 1-0 at halftime owing to Fabinho’s goal, and they went on to dominate in the second half, scoring in 69 minutes through Chamberlain’s header, before Minamino sealed the victory eight minutes later after Brentford made a defensive error.

The Reds could have scored more goals, but Brentford goalkeeper Fernandez was in top form, making several fantastic saves to keep them out.

Liverpool moves into second place in the Premier League, 11 points behind Manchester City, while Brentford remains in 14th place.

Liverpool’s next game is EFL Cup semi-final against Arsenal at the Emirates, followed by a trip to Crystal Palace the following weekend.

On Wednesday, Brentford will play Manchester United.
