Liverpool advanced to the Champions League semi-finals after a tense return leg which produced six-goal thriller at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds won a thrilling 6-4 aggregate triumph over a Benfica side that refused to go quietly out of the competition.
The Premier League side are still in contention for four titles this season, and they are just 180 minutes away from another European final, with Villarreal awaiting Klopp and his team in the last four.
While today’s visitors were dangerous on the break, they were unable to match Liverpool’s attacking prowess over the course of two games and will now be forced to focus on domestic concerns.
Liverpool’s hectic schedule continues on towards the weekend, leaving them little time to reflect on their success in Europe’s elite competition.
They will face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Meanwhile, Benfica must rapidly recover from their setback before facing arch-rivals Sporting on Sunday.
