Juventus secure all 3 points over Roma in seven-goal thriller

At the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, Juventus pulled off an epic comeback to upset Roma 4-3 in their Serie A clash.Juventus

Tammy Abraham gave the hosts the lead, but Paulo Dybala levelled the scores to make the game a draw at halftime.

In the early parts of the second half, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lorenzo Pellegrini gave Roma a 3-1 advantage.

Manuel Locatelli then kicked off the comeback for Juve with a deft header, before Dean Kulusevski bundled a strike home after a tussle in the box to bring Juve level.

After a fantastic finish from Mattia De Sciglio, the visitors took the lead.

The drama did not end there, as Matthijs de Ligt was sent off in the Juventus box for handball.

Pellegrini had an opportunity to equalise from the penalty spot, but Wojciech Szczesny stopped him.

The Bianconeri clung on for a thrilling triumph in the last minutes.

Roma must now prepare for their upcoming match against Cagliari, which will take place at home on Sunday.

Juve’s next match is on Wednesday in the Italian Super Cup vs Inter.
