Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has handed over new buses to Shooting Star SC ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League season 21/22.
Engineer Makinde, presented the keys to the team’s management in Ibadan on Wednesday.
Governor Makinde encouraged 3SC to go for greater glory by winning the NPFL on their first attempt while handing over the buses.
The governor also presented a bus to Crown Football Club, Ogbomoso, a well-known team in the state. Crown FC should seek for promotion to the NPFL, he said.
The governor wrote on his official Facebook page;
“Earlier today, we handed over buses to our football clubs; Shooting Stars Sports Club, Ibadan and Crown Football Club, Ogbomosho. Our administration will continue to provide the necessary resources to promote sporting activities among our young people in Oyo State.”
3SC was promoted to the Nigeria Football League’s top level following a stellar performance in the NNL division the previous season.
