Ex-Chelsea midfielder Glenn Hoddle has urged Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to embrace a move to the English Premier League (EPL) in the summer transfer window.

Osimhen, who recently renewed his contract with Napoli, has been linked to top European clubs like French giants Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea, These two clubs are top contenders for the player’s signature, according to multiple sources.

Speaking on TNT Sports during the UEFA Champions League show, Hoddle believes Osimhen’s playing style at this stage of his career will be a perfect fit for the EPL.

“He’s a Premier League player looking at him, the style of him as well, and the league, the style suits him, but he’s got his hunger back,” Hoddle said.

“That’s the main thing. I think now he’s back to his best. He’s got the hunger, and the movement, he wants to score goals. That’s the big difference, the mindset.”

Hoddle’s advice to Osimhen tallies with Theirry Henry and Frank Onyeka’s advice to the current CAF African Player of the Year.
