Nigerian forward, Akor Adams just can’t stop scoring goals in the French Ligue 1 after he again hit the target twice—his 7th league goal of the season—for Montpellier to seal a 3-0 home win against Toulouse on Sunday.
The 23-year-old forward is clearly getting himself into the right place after opening the scoring and adding another for Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson.
The former Flying Eagles striker scored in the first half and rounded off the scoring in the second period of the game, while Khalil Fayad added to the scoring as they secured all three points over their visitors.
The red-hot Nigerian striker, Akor Adams, registered his sixth league goal of the season for Montpellier barely 13 minutes into the game, handing the hosts the lead at intervals.
18 minutes into the second half, Khalil Fayad made it 2-0 before the 23-year-old Nigerian hitman doubled his tally for the game nine minutes later.
As it stands, only Kylian Mbappe has more goals in Ligue 1 than the Nigerian after nine rounds of matches played in the French Ligue 1.
After moving to Uber Eats in Ligue 1 for €4.5 million from Lillestrom in the summer, Adams has gotten off to a quick start.
With seven goals in just seven games, the former Nigeria U-20 striker has now established himself as a key member of Michel Der Zakarian’s squad.
