Coutinho steals the show on debut as Villa holds Manchester United to draw

In the Premier League match at Villa Park, Aston Villa came back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

Bruno Fernandes took advantage of Emiliano Martinez and Morgan Sanson’s errors to put United in command.

Before Jacob Ramsey started the turnaround for Villa with a nice finish before turning provider to enable Philippe Coutinho to save a point for Steven Gerrard’s side on his debut.

Villa move closer to Premier League safety, but United miss out on a fantastic chance to narrow the gap on the top four.

Villa’s next Premier League match will take place on the road at Everton on Saturday.

Manchester United’s next Premier League match is on Wednesday against Brentford at Old Trafford.
