Tottenham on Thursday night secured a 2-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League, thanks to goal from Son Heung-Min and Sergi Canós’s own-goal.Son Heung-Min and Reguilon

It was a comfortable victory for the home side as Brentford’s weak performance didn’t really cause Antonio Conte’s men too many problems

Spurs took the lead after a Jansson header from a Son cross was deflected into his own net by Canos in the 12th minute.

The rest of the first half passed without a spectacular display, but Tottenham sprung into life in the second.

They could have increased their lead through Kane and then Hojbjerg, but they didn’t until 65 minutes, when Kane put in Reguilon, who squared to Son for an empty-net finish.

Late on, the Bees gave it a go, but the hosts were resolute in their pursuit of the three points.

In his first three Premier League games as Spurs manager, Conte has collected seven points out of a potential nine.

I am enjoying this experience,” says Conte shortly after the game.

They have risen to sixth place and will face Norwich in their next match as they attempt to break into the top four.

On goal differential, the visitors drop a place to 12th. Next up, they travel to Leeds in an attempt to get back on track.
