The transfer of Nigerian international Chidera Ejuke from CSKA Moscow of the Russian elite league has been officially announced by Hertha Berlin.
Chidera Ejuke, the Super Eagles winger, signed a season-long loan deal with Hertha Berlin from CSKA Moscow.
The forward suspended his contract with CSKA Moscow and will play for the German premier division team in 2022–2023.
The Nigerian international ended his contract with the Horses by following the temporary employment regulations established by Fifa.

The 24-year-old forward explained his decision to join the team and expressed his happiness at his new position in Germany.
“I can’t wait to meet the lads and the staff. I know that last season didn’t go to plan, but we’re all here together now to start a new campaign – and I want to have some great moments with the team.” – Chidera Ejuke told the club website
Following former Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng, Chidera Ejuke joins Hertha’s starting lineup and will wear jersey number 40.
The Super Eagles player, who formerly played for Gombe United agreed to a four-year contract with the Moscow-based team on August 28, 2020, for an unknown fee.
