Romelu Lukaku succeeded in provoking a lot of Chelsea supporters on Wednesday night when he returned to action for Inter Milan during their UEFA Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen after a 61-day absence.
The 29-year-old scored Inter Milan’s fourth goal of the match to secure a place in the round of 16 as he made his comeback from injury.
But he will undoubtedly be hoping he started his second spell with the Serie A team on a strong note after finding the net last night in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri eliminated Spanish heavyweight – Barcelona with the victory over Viktoria Plzen, advancing them to the competition’s last phase.
However, many Blues supporters were certainly dismayed by the way the Belgian celebrated scoring the last goal in a 4-0 victory, and they couldn’t contain their fury on social media.
Romelu Lukaku, who was introduced as a substitute in the 83rd minute to replace Lautaro Martnez, scored for Inter after just four minutes on the pitch.
The Chelsea player struck the back of the net with a cool-headed attempt as he was substituted in for his first game since August 26 due to injury.
The Chelsea record signing kissed the Italian Seria A club’s badge in celebration of his goal, despite only being there on loan at the moment.

Although it is unlikely that he will ever play at Stamford Bridge again, especially under Graham Potter, the club’s supporters will be outraged by the lack of regard shown to the EPL team.
The fact that Lukaku has been using the celebration with every side he has ended up playing for over the past few years speaks volumes, obviously you cannot expect him to exhibit loyalty.
