According to sources, AC Milan is interested in signing Real Madrid legend Marcelo and has made a contract offer to the defender.
The left-back will leave Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer at the end of the month after 15 years with the Spanish club.
The Brazilian planned to stay at Real Madrid for another season, but the club decided not to renew his contract, which expires on June 30.
The Serie A champions – Milan are said to have offered Marcelo a contract worth €3 million net each season.

Because of the considerable difference between first-choice Theo Hernandez and second-choice Fode Ballo-Toure, the Rossonsi are in desperate need of a left-back.
Marcelo, according to reports, is wary of a move to Milan, particularly on a financial level, as he was earning €6 million per season at Real Madrid.
Marcelo just won his sixth Champions League trophy, and his first as Real Madrid captain, against Liverpool in Paris. This season, the Blancos also won La Liga.
With Real Madrid, the Brazilian won a club-record 25 trophies.
🚨 AC Milan are pushing to sign Marcelo and have offered him a salary of €3M/year. 💸
