Zaidu Sanusi, Super Eagles defender, put in a sensational performance as FC Porto crushed Vizela 4-0 on Sunday evening to reclaim a first-place tie with Sporting.
Sanusi scored his first goal of the season to help Porto win their 10th Liga match in a row and extend their Liga winning streak to 43 games.
Luis Daz opened the scoring for the visitors just 14 minutes into the game with his 12th goal of the season.
5 minutes later, Otávio Edmilson extended the lead, and Sanusi made it 3-0 two minutes into the second half.
After Guilherme Schettine’s violent foul on Porto goalkeeper, the home team was reduced to ten men, before Samu’s own-goal clinched the victory for the Sérgio Conceiço side.
The Dragons earned a well-deserved victory, maintaining their lead in the rankings, level on points with Sporting and four points ahead of Benfica.
Later after the game, the 24-year-old Super Eagles’ left-back was named MOTM.
