Taiwo Awoniyi has picked up from where he left off before the international break, scoring in his third consecutive game for Union Berlin against Wolfsburg.
His second half strike helped Union Berlin to secure a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg during their Bundesliga clash at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Saturday.
The new Super Eagles forward fired the Urs Fischer side ahead 4 minutes into second half before Sheraldo Becker sealed the win for the home side 82 minutes on.
Its now 6 goals in 8 Bundesliga games this season for the 24-year-old Marksman, only Lewandowski and Haaland have scored more than the Nigerian in the league.
Union Berlin remains 5th in Bundesliga Standings with 15 points, followed by Wolfsburg with 13 points.
