After a 2-2 draw against Galatasaray on Sunday, Anthony Nwaekeme played a key role asTrabzonspor secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kasimpasa during their Turkish Super Lig clash.
It’s another goal involvement for Nwakaeme as Trabzonspor continue their impressive start in the Super Lig.
The 32-year-old scored the equalizer against Galatasaray last week, only to inspire his side to victory yesterday as he turned provider to a lone goal that seal all 3 points for the Abdullah Avcı side.
The goal came 52 minutes into the encounter after Tasos Bakasetas recieved a pass from the left winger – Anthony Nwakaeme for the 0-1.
Nwakaeme now has 4 goals and 2 assist in 5 league appearances so far.
Trabzonspor are currently in 13 points after 5 matches and joint leader with Besiktas while Kasimpasa are in 14th with just 5 points.
