Super Falcons get US, Portugal, and Jamaica friendlies in June

Nigeria’s women’s national football team is set for a busy next month after the NFF lined up super friendly matches for the them.

The Falcons will face world champions, US, European giants Portugal, and Jamaica in the Summer Series slated for June in Texas.

Our dear Falcons take on Jamaica first on June 10 before facing Portugal four days later at the same venue, the BBVA stadium, Houston, TX.

Super Falcons will complete their Summer Series journey against World Champions, the US on June 17, this time at the Q2 stadium, Austin before heading home.

“It is a great prospect for us as we continue to build ahead of the qualifying games for next year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations,” the coach said, according to goal.com.

The Summer Series, a four-nation invitational tournament, will be the second tournament under new manager, Randy Waldrum, who began his time as the coach with a flawless performance at the Turkish cup back in February
