After being replaced by Maddison, Wilfred Ndidi walked away, and the nature of his injury is yet unknown.
Most Nigerians are disappointed with this recent setback, with many hoping that his absence will not have a substantial impact on the Super Eagles’ performance against Ghana.
In last night encounter, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ademola Lookman all featured for the Premier League side as they sealed their place in the Europa Conference League’s last eight on goals scored.
