Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi, Terem Moffi, and Paul Onuachu lit up Europe this weekend with decisive strikes for their clubs in England, France, and Turkey.
From Iwobi’s creative brilliance in the Premier League to Moffi’s clinical finish in Ligue 1 and Onuachu’s rescue act in the Super Lig, the Nigerian trio proved their worth, and it’s a beauty to watch.
Alex Iwobi inspires Fulham to derby win
In the English Premier League on Saturday evening, Alex Iwobi delivered a standout performance in Fulham’s 3-1 win over Brentford, scoring his first goal of the season and adding an assist.

After Brentford struck against the run of play, Iwobi levelled with a composed finish before setting up Harry Wilson to complete the turnaround.
Fulham extended their lead early in the second half as Ethan Pinnock’s own goal sealed control, despite VAR denying Rodrigo Muniz a fourth.
The victory lifted Marco Silva’s men to seventh and gave them back-to-back Premier League wins.
Iwobi’s influence was central, marking him as Fulham’s creative spark in a crucial derby win, taking his tally to three goal contributions so far.
Terem Moffi scores in Ligue 1 despite Nice defeat
Terem Moffi had an impressive outing in French Ligue 1, scoring a composed first-half strike that briefly gave his side hope but not enough to stop Nice from succumbing to a 4-1 defeat to Brest.

The 26-year-old has now netted twice in seven games this season, a positive sign after last year’s injury-hit campaign limited him to just one goal in five appearances.
His clinical finish, latching onto Hicham Boudaoui’s lofted pass, showed once again his sharp movement and composure.
Though Nice crumbled after the break, Moffi would be glad to have found the net. With Roma awaiting in the Europa League, he remains a key figure in reviving their momentum.
Paul Onuachu rescues Trabzonspor in Super Lig
In the Turkish league, Paul Onuachu struck his third goal of the season to rescue Trabzonspor in a 1-1 draw with Gaziantep.
The Nigerian forward’s equaliser came in style, latching onto a remarkable 60-yard assist from Manchester United loanee André Onana.

After Gaziantep had stunned the hosts with Kévin Rodrigues’ opener, Onuachu brought Trabzonspor level in the 70th minute, using his strength to hold off his marker before finishing with a composed lob.
Despite late pressure, Trabzonspor couldn’t find a winner.
Though his side were left frustrated by another home setback, Onuachu would be proud the goals are coming back again after a frustrating spell at Southampton.
