The 29-year-old, who voiced his pleasure at making it this far, confessed that the encounter was difficult, but that the fans contributed to the thrilling atmosphere.
The Super Eagles defender stressed that his team’s dedication to the badge has not changed despite a tough season.

They won 2-0 in the first leg and were held to a 1-1 draw in the second, with Shehu Abdullahi featuring for the entire 90 minutes.
The home side found back of the net just six minutes into the game through Adam Lang. The Neil Lennon’s team was then reduced to ten men four minutes later after Héctor Yuste was sent off.
Before Anorthosis leveled the scores for the visitors in the 23rd minute at the GSP stadium, thanks to Amr Warda.
“We are through to the Cup final. Mixed season we have had, but our commitment has remained the same for the badge. The fans made the atmosphere electrifying. Difficult night and we are excited to get through.” – Shehu Abdullahi wrote on his twitter page.
Omonia Nicosia will face Ethnikos in the final on May 25, 2022, and Shehu Abdullahi, who qualified for the Cypriot Cup final alongside Francis Uzoho, will now have the chance to battle for a trophy.
