Simy Nwankwo of Salernitana has agreed to join Serie B side Parma on loan until the end of the 2021-22 season.
The Nigerian forward has moved Italy’s second division after struggling to retain his peak form in the Italian top flight this season.
The Crusaders have also hinted that the 29-year-old’s contract could be renewed at the conclusion of the season.
His season-long loan at Salernitana, where he struggled to find form, scoring just one goal in 19 league appearances, comes to an end with the move to Parma.
He will be hoping to get his form back in the Serie B, where he is no stranger, having led Crotone to the top scorer award in 2019-20 with 20 goals in 37 games.
