Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has been named the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month winner for August, following his brilliant outing for Trabzonspor.
The 31-year-old forward clinched the award for his superbly timed header in the club’s 1-1 draw against Samsunspor on matchday four—a goal that showed his trademark aerial power and composure.

The award was presented to the tall striker by Trabzonspor vice president Zeyyat Kafkas ahead of their clash with Kayserispor, which ultimately set the stage for another memorable performance by the Nigerian star.
Onuachu’s impact at Trabzonspor has gone far beyond individual accolades. In the same game where he received the award, he delivered another standout display — scoring from the penalty spot in stoppage time and providing an assist in a dominant 4-0 win over Kayserispor at Papara Park.
The Nigerian forward is now the top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig, with six goals and one assist in eight appearances this season.

His consistency in front of goal has been a driving force behind Trabzonspor’s push for the top spots, reigniting hopes of challenging for the title.
