Ighalo nets second brace in three games

Former Super Eagles’ star – Odion Ighalo on Sunday night bagged his second brace in three games when his side, Al Shabab faced Al Hazm in the new Saudi Premier League season.

Ighalo scored twice to help Al-Shabab secure their first win this season in the League.

The 32-years-old opened scoring for Al-Shabab just three minute into the game and had another chance to double his tally before end of first half, but missed the opportunity.

Al-Shabab were later reduced to 10 men three minutes to half time as Paulinho was awarded a red card.

3 minutes to stoppage time, the former Manchester United forward scored again to seal a 2-0 win for the home side.

Ighalo has now scored four goals in four games for Al-Shabab this season in the Saudi Arabian topflight.

Al-Shabab currently sit in 10th position with just four points in four games while Al Hazm are in 15th with just two points.
