In the Swedish Superettan division, Nigerian striker – Henry Offia scored twice to propel his team, Trelleborgs FF to a resounding victory.

On Sunday, the Nigerian forward led Trelleborgs FF to a comeback victory over Dalkurd FF, earning him the man of the match honour in their 4-2 home win.

Henry Offia scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season during a fiercely contested match at the Vngavallen Stadium to give Trelleborgs a well-earned victory and all three points against Dalkurd.

The visiting team got off to a solid start, scoring the opening goal through Rassa Rahmani from a penalty spot just eleven minutes into the match, before an own-goal from Jesper Modig made it 2-0 for the visitors 8 minutes later.

27 minutes into the game, Bödvar Bödvarsson produced a nice assist to locate Mouhammed-Ali Dhaini, who pulled one goal back for the home team.

Before Henry Offia managed to turn things around for the Kristian Haynes side, scoring the equaliser barely a minute before end of first half and made the scoreline 3-2 just a minute into the second.

Henry’s stunning counter attack produced his first goal before beating 3 defenders in the box with one move and still manages to fire it above the keeper’s head at an insanely tight angle.

Nicolas Mortensen then made sure the game was beyond reach for the visitors as he sealed the win with the 4th goal before Lukas Minter Wettergren came on to replace Henry Offia in 90th minute.

With the win, Trelleborgs moves to 5th spot with 33 points while Dalkurd FF remain in second bottom of the table with 18 points after 20 games.

On Saturday, Henry Offia and his Trelleborgs team mates will be looking to grab more wins when they face Landskrona BoIS away from home.
