Super Falcons newest star, Patricia George is a happy woman after she made her international debut for Nigeria at the Gold City Cup on Thursday.

The SC Sand of Germany defender made this known after making her debut in the Super Falcons opener against Russian club, CSKA Moscow in Turkey.
George started from the substitute bench before she replaced Halima Ayinde on 76 minutes with the team leading 1-0.
The goal was scored by Chiwendu Ihezuo in the first half which turned out to be the winner as Falcons tried but failed to score a second.
Speaking after the match, an elated George had this to say;
“It’s an honour to be wearing the Nigeria Supee Falcons jersey,” she posted on her official social media account.
“First cap for Nigeria today, thank you everybody for all the love and support – It keeps me motivated and always moving forward. (I am) always grateful and blessed.”
Meanwhile, in a related development, another new player who made her debut for the Falcons was Sevilla FC forward, Toni Payne.
But unlike George, Payne started and finished the game against CSKA.
Both players were born in the United States of America but decided to represent Nigeria.
