Super Eagles hopeful EberechI Eze is back on the pitch six months after suffering a serious injury in training.
The 23-year-old sustained Achilles injury in training on Tuesday, 18th of May 2021 which ruled him out for a long period of time.
Palace shared photos of the youngster in training on Wednesday with the caption “Impossible challenge: Look at Ebere Eze content without smiling”.
Eze, who has represented the Three Lions at Under 20 and Under 21 level, is still under massive pressure to decide between Nigeria and England.
He remains eligible to represent Nigeria at senior level and does not have any senior cap yet.
Recall that the Nigeria FA admitted they would love to see the attacking midfielder switch allegiance and play for the Super Eagles, but say they will not ‘beg’ him.
The £16m signing from QPR has scored just four goals in 29 Premier League starts for Crystal Palace with 6 assist.
