A comfortable win for Linköpings FC saw Uchenna Kanu named Player of the Match after their convincing 3-1 victory over Hammarby IF.
Uchenna scored a marvelous hat-trick in Damallsvenskan Round 21 as the Hammarby defense simply failed to cope with the forward’s explosive finishing.
The striker ran the show for Linköpings as she scored all three goals in their 1-3 away win.
Uchenna opened scoring in the 10th minute, before adding her 2nd goal of the game four minutes to end of first half.
64 minutes on, the 24-year-old completed the rout with a hat-trick before Nina Jakobsson grabbed a consolation goal for the home side two minutes later.
Uchenna has produced some decent form for Linköpings so far this season, contributing 15 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions, with just a game to go.
Both teams are tied on points – 28, with Linköpings toping with goal difference while Hammarby sits in 7th spot.
