Nigerian forward Akor Adams continues to shine in the Norwegian Eliteserien Division, showcasing his skills with two impressive goals that led to an away victory for his team, Lillestrøm SK.

In Sunday’s match against Rosenborg, Adams scored a brace, helping his side come from behind and secure a 2-1 victory on their opponent’s turf.

With these two goals, the Nigerian striker has now scored five goals in five matches for Lillestrøm SK.

In a previous home game against Stabæk, he even achieved a hat-trick in their 3-1 win.

Although he couldn’t find the back of the net in the subsequent matches against Brann and Tromso, he bounced back with another impressive performance against Rosenborg, scoring two goals.

When the game kicked off at the Lerkendal Stadion, Rosenborg had a firm grip on the match, taking an early lead thanks to a goal from Norwegian star Ole Sæter just 11 minutes into the game.

However, it wasn’t until the 85th minute that Lillestrøm SK managed to equalize. Akor Adams, their prominent number 9, expertly headed in a cross from his teammate, leveling the scores for the visitors.

In the 90+2 minutes, a VAR review was conducted due to a rough tackle in Rosenborg’s 18-yard box, resulting in a penalty being awarded to Lillestrøm.

Adams stepped up to take the spot kick but initially failed to convert as the goalkeeper made a diving save.

However, Adams seized the opportunity and scored from the rebound, completing his double and securing the winning goal.

The 23 years old forward is determined to claim the title of the Norwegian Eliteserien’s top scorer.

With 12 goals in 12 outings for Lillestrøm SK, he is making a strong case for himself.

Currently sitting in 8th place with 20 points, Lillestrøm SK’s next fixture is a home game against Sandefjord at the Åråsen Stadium on Sunday, July 16.

With the team’s upcoming matches, Adams aims to further demonstrate his scoring prowess and contribute to a successful finish to the league season.
