Super Eagles star man – Victor Osimhen is currently on fire, grabbing two goals and assist to help Napoli secure a 5-1 win over Juventus during their Serie A game.

The 24-year-old scored the opener, doubled his tally and turned provider as Napoli secured all three points against Juventus at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Friday evening.

Napoli came into this match after defeating Sampdoria 2-0 on the road.

Although Inter defeated the Luciano Spalletti’s team 1-0 in their opening matchback from the World Cup to end their league undefeated streak,

On the other hand, Juventus entered the match with an eight-game Serie A winning streak dating back to November of last year.

They defeated Udinese 1-0 in their most recent game, and were expecting to win tonight so they could close the top-of-the-table deficit to just four points.

Barely 14 minutes into the game, Osimhen puts Napoli ahead and the goal came just a minute after driving an effort safely into the hands of Szczesny.

When Politano received the ball from Di Lorenzo on the left wing, he crossed the ball to Kvaratskhelia for Napoli.

Szczesny handled the Georgian’s acrobatic effort admirably. The Juventus goalie, though, could only deflect it out into Osimhen’s path, where he nods it into the open net.

25 minutes later, the Napoli goal machine turned provider as he combined beautifully well with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to double their lead.

The Georgian found back of the net in 39th minute of the game when he fired home after a defensive mistake from Bremer.

Unfortunately, the two-goal lead for Napoli was short-lived as Di Maria scored for Juventus three minutes before halftime to bring his side back into the game.

Napoli’s two-goal lead was restored by Rrahmani’s well-placed corner finish, and the league leaders then moved ten points clear at the top of Serie A with powerful header from Osimhen and a solo drive from Elmas.

It’s a new week, but Victor Osimhen is still the same. The Super Eagles star is now on fire in Italy with 12 goals and two assists in 14 outings for Napoli.

The victory and three points see Napoli move 10 points clear at the top of the table with a win tonight.
