Terem Moffi, Super Eagles attacker, scored a fantastic solo goal for FC Lorient on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough as they fell 2-1 at the Stade du Moustoir.
On matchday 35 of the French Ligue 1, the 22-year-old equalized for FC Lorient against Stade de Reims.
Arbr Zeneli opened the scoring for the Óscar García side with a simple tap in the 18-yard area just 17 minutes into the game.
Terem Moffi equalized 17 minutes later with a solo drive that saw him beat three defenders and the goalkeeper to the ball.
Moffi regains his touch after spending four months without a goal since the end of 2021 with a run from within his own half that culminates with him beating the goalkeeper to score.
After the hosts wasted a handful of chances to win, El Bilal Touré scores 14 minutes into the second half to hand the visitors the winner and all three points.
Terem Moffi has eight goals and four assists for FC Lorient, who are in 16th place with 34 points after 35 games.
The Christophe Pélissier’s team will be eager to avenge their defeat when they face Marseille on Sunday.
